9.4.2021 - Implementing one page design - Day 1 - 4,5 hours

Today I'm starting to implement one page design, which is not mine and it should be able to be implemented by 2D Game Kit. I'm looking to the design and I see a few problems. I don't know how high the player jumps, also how far are millie monsters supposed to go, or if they should stay in one place. But the other stuff looks fine, there is a lot of informations and I like the bricks, this is a good measure, I used it a lot.

Opening the Unity takes forever, I'm starting with the 2D Game Kit,  adding platforms and walls.

After 2 hours when I was trying to add some background I find out I broke something, probably in layers, so I will start again.

I added platforms, moving platforms, walls and succesfully even some backgroud walls for the underground feel. For that I used some wall sprint and put it to the backroud. Sometimes the distance between platforms isn't the best, the hero is hitting his head, but maybe it should make game more complicated. I adjusted the gravity of a hero from 38 to 45, so hero can jump enough high, but not too high. One platform is a bit lower and player shoud jump on it, but even when I adjusted the gravity more it's still bad and too hard to play, so I'm going to lower it down. 

I added some layers around, so it looks like under the ground. Added a physical camera, so the size of view is more like the size from the design. I found problem with doors. They have invisible block under them the same size as the door, but the problem is that the hero can't go trough this block. And he should by the plan. So I rotated it the other way, so the invisible block is on the top and then I rotated the sprite, so the door look normal. I added acid, picable health, which should add 5 lives and pushable box. Then I added pressure pad and connected it to the door. So for today it's 3,5 hours and my back really hurts, so I'm gonna end it today.
